“Celtic must have won yesterday”, “Must have been p*ssed watching that” – Hoops fans react to Kenny Miller’s mental Beale claim

Yep, it’s the silly season alright but not because it’s Christmas.

It’s that time of the season where Rangers have a new manager and everyone in the media gets themselves all worked up into a stupor with the hope that this one, please, can finally end Celtic’s domination of the Scottish domestic scene.

It really is quite laughable to be honest. The amount of cheerleaders that have jumped on the bandwagon predicting that the Ibrox side ‘are back’ or something along those lines is completely bonkers.

But not as bonkers as Kenny Miller after watching his side (Is it Rangers or Hibs?) struggle on Thursday night:

To save you clicking on this, Miller said this, “It has only taken 90 minutes of Michael Beale being in the dugout but already Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos and Glen Kamara look rejuvenated as Rangers players.

That was the main thing that struck me from Beale’s first proper day in office at Ibrox in Thursday’s win over Hibs.”

Stopped reading after that. Rejuvenated. One of them scored a two yard tap in and the other two were still average against a Hibs side that are on relegation form.

It’s this kind of fluff piece that really grates on fans but I suppose when you look at it, Miller is doing a great job giving them hope.

Because after liquidation, hope is the next thing that will kill them.
