Celtic match day squad has brilliant, but surprising, addition

Celtic Park

As Celtic face Hibs today at 3pm at Paradise, the main aim of the day is to respond to Rangers win at Motherwell with a resounding victory.

A strong line up will be required to overcome a Hibs side that has found a decent but of form over the last few weeks.

With Ange Postecoglou confirming that Aaron Mooy and Tomoki Iwata will miss todays game in yesterday’s press conference, the natural assumption that Matt O’Riley will step in was made and delivered by the gaffer.

Wh2ther Maeda or Haksabanovic were starting was the next question and the Japanese speed machine makes the cut.

But what was surprising is that young Ben Summers makes the bench.

The 18 year old midfielder has clearly impressed Ange Postecoglou over the last few weeks and it looks like he may get an appearance, depend on how the game pans out.

David Turnbull also returns to the bench as does Bernabei and the return of Greg Taylor will be welcomed warmly by the Hoops fans.

A victory should be on the cards and with 11 of our last goals being scored by ten different players, there should be enough in this side to win by three or more this afternoon.
