As we enter the business end of the season, Celtic have been handed a major boost as Liel Abada is set to return to training ahead ahead of the Scottish Cup final against Rangers.
Abada suffered from a thigh injury whilst on international duty in March and hasn’t featured for Celtic since the 3-1 win against Hibs at Parkhead.
The little Israeli came on as a 60th minute sub that day but his latest injury meant he missed crucial domestic ties against Hearts in the Scottish Cup and Rangers in the league.
Abada has been somewhat of a talisman for Celtic in the Glasgow Derby.
Borna Barisic will still be having nightmares about him ghosting in twice in two games to help Celtic to two huge victories to win the league last season and defend the title this season.
Abada could be ready for some minutes against Motherwell on Saturday but a more realistic timeline would be next weeks crucial Scottish Cup tie against Rangers.
