Brendan Rodgers’ dream under threat as new name emerges for Man Utd job

Manchester United is the only club he has ever supported as a child.

As well as Leicester City, Swansea and Reading.

Oh, and Celtic of course.

Yes, I am being facetious, but you all get the point.

As Leicester City look to be getting cut adrift of the the top six and linger ever closer to the relegation spots, the rumours that former Celtic boss, Brendan Rodgers, is set to take up the Manchester United top job could be under threat as new name emerges this morning.

A tweet from The Totally Football Show named former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane as a potential candidate for The Reds but that could be dependant on how the French national job pans out.

Many are touting ZZ to take charge of Les Blues after Didier Deschamps steps down, but as that date is unknown, could the former World Cup winner be tempted to take the hotseat in The Theatre of Dreams?

Rodgers certainly will hope not.
