“Better than Kyogo” – Mark Guidi makes massive claim on Celtic transfer target

Every Celtic fan knows how special Kyogo is. When he plays, the team lights up. And when he doesn’t, you can see a massive difference in not only the performance of the team, but also with the enthusiasm and work rate within the team.

But speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, pundit and journalist Mark Guidi made a massive claim about a current Celtic star that the club will hopefully be looking to sign permanently this season, “He was good on Saturday. As I say, that beautiful bit of skill.

It takes a special talent to be able to do that. You know he lifts his head to get into good areas.

I think he’s a player that lights up the Celtic team.

I think he’s got the potential to do better things for Celtic than what Kyogo can do.

I think that’s how good Jota can be. I think he’s got something special in this locker to really go up again and be every bit of a match winner, of a pivotal player for Celtic to every bit more so than Kyogo.

And I’m taking nothing away from Kyogo, he’s obviously a special, special talent.

But Jota has got something special in his locker. And for a winger as well, he’s already shown in the five months he’s been at the club, he’s got a level of consistency.

He’s not one game on and four games when you don’t see him. He’s producing week in week out.

Better than Kyogo? Contentious.

Compliment each others playing styles? Absolutely.

But whatever your opinion on the Portuguese winger, there is absolutely no doubt Celtic should be pulling out all the stops to get the 22 year old dynamo to sign permanently on the dotted line.
