“Aw I’m Loving It Mate. Loving It” – Postecoglou Raves About Celtic Support

I think it’s fair to say all Celtic supporters are feeling love for their new gaffer. The trepidation that surrounded his appointment amongst the Hoops fans has now been replaced with expectation as the supporters enjoy what they are now calling “Angeball” gracing the turf at Celtic Park.

Not only that, the fans are also loving Postecoglou’s honesty and engagement in front of the camera.

Personally I like the fact that when he speaks, he makes you want to listen but also when you watch him being interviewed, he’s focused and attentive and holds nothing back.

It’s refreshing.

When being interviewed by BBC Sportsound after Celtic’s 2-0 win over AZ Alkmaar on Wednesday night, Ange was asked how he is feeling managing in front of a packed Celtic Park and the boss could not hide his pleasure at having the fans inside the stadium, “Aw I’m loving it mate. Loving it and I feel pretty blessed.

I have come in and when we get the full houses back in here and already had some special nights and hopefully there will be many more to come.”

Postecoglou has had his first real experience of the famous Parkhead noise on a European night and there is absolutely no doubt that he will want those to continue as he aims to get past Alkmaar in the second leg.

Not only is Ange feeling the love of the fans but the fans are feeling the love from their manager. The long spoken about disconnect seems to now becoming reconnected with every passing game.
