Ange Postecoglou’s short fuse shows as journalist pushes his luck

As Celtic prepare to face Moyherwell tomorrow afternoon at Celtic Park, Ange Postecoglou was fielding questions from the media today at Paradise.

The Celtic boss was asked about the condition of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Ange confirmed that he was fit and available for tomorrow.

Not satisfied with that reply, the reporter pushed the Celtic manager and asked again if the Hoops defender would require surgery, Ange was clearly cheesed of at the persistence of the journo.

Ange said [Celtic TV],  “Mate, he’s playing tomorrow.

“He’s playing tomorrow so that’s  where it begins and ends.

“I can’t predict the future.

“If he gets through tomorrow, he’ll play next week. So that’s how it is.”

A victory tomorrow sees Celtic needing just one more victory to be effectively crowned champions.

With the Scottish Cup semi final up at the end of the month, Ange will be desperate to ensure Carter-Vickers is fit and ready as the Celtic boss chases his first ever managerial treble.
