After Ange Postecoglou tore journalism a new anus this week due to their shocking bad questions at another press conference, many people are genuinely exasperated at the appalling standards our press have.
Week after week Ange faces these people. And of course, they have no interest in a proper football story. They want sensationalism. They want a headline.
And football fans and managers are getting increasingly turned off by it.
But, according to Alan Rough, there are journalists who go to these pressers only with the sole intention of winding up managers.
Speaking on the PLZ Football Show, Rough said, “The point I’m making, as you probably know, without naming names, there are people who go to the press conferences who noise it up for everybody else.
“There are people there who may ask the first crazy one.
“But there are some people who go in there with no football knowledge and ask a stupid question.”
