Alex Rae is trending on Twitter as Celtic fans bask in his live radio pain

We all love listening to Alex Rae right? No?

Ok. Let me start off. We all love listening to Alex Rae on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard when Sevco lose right?

Yeah of course we do,

The former oldco Rangers player has taken over the mantle of former Sevco cheerleader Derek Johnstone on the show and it seems from the reaction on Twitter, that Rae hasn’t taken too well to Rangers losing, no wait, getting an absolute horsing at Hampden on Sunday as they lost 3-1 to Hibs in the Premier Sports Cup.

Rae tries to be impartial. He tries very hard, but when the chips are down his pain shows and the Celtic fans are quick to rip into it.

Some of the tweets are simply brilliant.

One fan used a picture of supervillain, Skeletor, from HeMan to depict Rae. Can’t think why.

Another used a picture of Uncle Fester from The Munsters.

All very, very unfair but I’ll leave you with the best of the rest as the Celtic fans revel in Rae’s Premier Sports Cup pain.

I missed the start of it. Last 15 mins has all been about how poor their defence is.

I always thought Alex rae was just a slight fool. I owe him an apology, I underestimated him.
