Celtic have been linked with a move for Switzerland u21 star Aardon Jashari. The 20 year old currently plays for FC Luzern in the Swiss Superleague.

The defensive midfielder seems to be in high demand as reports from Switzerland suggest that as well as Celtic, teams fro the Serie A and Portugal are looking at him as well.

The report from Blick says, “No wonder Ardon Jashari is in great demand. He is likely to leave his training club in the summer for a sum of between 6 and 8 million. 

“Where he is drawn to is still completely open. There are many interested parties.

“Above all Celtic Glasgow and Porto.  Serie A clubs Lazio and Atalanta have recently joined.”

This is a strange link for me as Celtic are more than equipped in that area of the park.

Callum McGregor and Tomoki Iwata are the Hoops main choices in that position. Any suggestions that Jashari could be a development player would not make sense either as Luzern are looking for a minimum of €6m.

This is one to watch with interest as we approach the end of the season.
