It really didn’t take too long for the Daily Record to come out with their usual nonsense regarding Rangers accounts, did it?

Even with my untrained eye, I could see past the bluster from finance expert Kieran Macguire and could see that there was no profit posted.

It was a £900k loss.

Now, the loss was spun as a profit ‘if’ there was no compensation payment paid to Mike Ashley but the fact it, the payment WAS made.

By that rationale then they shouldn’t include the compensation money received from Aston Villa for Gerrard right?
