Celtic were brilliant against Real Madrid last night.
In the first half they were confident on the ball, clean crisp passing and resolute at the back.
The second half, although disappointing, I never felt as though the team let themselves down.
I still felt they gave a very good account of themselves despite being cut open with three pieces of Real Madrid class.
So why then, did journalist Graham Spiers decide to tweet this:
Was I watching a different game to him last night? Did Real carve out another three or four clear cut chances that I had missed?
The stats say different and on another night, it would have been a different outcome had Celtic took their chances.
It wasn’t to be, but unfortunately for Spiers, the ire of the Celtic fans, for him at least, was to be:
Are you watching a re-run of Saturdays Demolition Derby?
