The brilliant Twitter thread that show’s Sevco’s refereeing helping hand

Let me start, first off, by praising the team.

To put the Ibrox side to bed with such ease just proves their theory that we have yet to be tested by a good team this season.

And I have to say, out of all the teams we have faced, they have been the poorest. And I’m not trying to be controversial or stick the boot in.

Aberdeen, Hearts and Ross County have all gave us tougher games this season. And if this is the best that they have got, they are in serious trouble. Not just from us but from the rest of the SPFL.

Aberdeen, Hearts and Motherwell are all just three points adrift with almost similar goal differences. So this season is going to be very interesting indeed.

Anyway, the 4-0 performance is just testament to how brilliant we were on the day considering how much Rangers were aided, and abetted, by match referee Nick Walsh.

Have a read at this:

This thread just disproves the narrative that Walsh had a great game (I’ll write about this later) on Saturday when, in truth, he bottled it from the big calls.

The most glaring, for me, was the penalty call when Kent clipped Abada in the box. THE most blatant penalty you will see this season.

But as I said, it is testament to the players that they still came away with a 4-0 win but just imagine what the scoreline would have been had the referee done his job correctly and applied the laws of the game.
