“When they’re knackered after 60m we strike” – The delusional Follow Follow Glasgow Derby thread

Brother Walfrid Statue, Celtic Park

Yes, I know we have a game tonight and I also know we should be fully focused on that before any talk of the Derby on Saturday but I have to show you this thread.

Having not learned anything from last seasons two league defeats, the chaps over at Follow Follow are still banging on about Celtic’s fitness levels dropping during a match.

Have they not watched us all season? Did they not watch us last season? Did they forget about the two defeats we handed them whilst looking as fit as a fiddle?

This thread just about sums up that lot.

A poll was run asking them who they think will win on Saturday and I have to say, I was shocked, SHOCKED I tell thee, at the results:

At least 55 of them are truthful, whereas 260 are probably hopeful. The rest? Absolutely delusional.

And some of the comments are just as good:

Whereas QOS was?
No one really believed him hence the lack of interaction.
Never seen one Celtic fan claim this. Ever.
Self awareness anyone???
Where to even start with this!!!!
Written by ten year old!!

Their over confidence, whilst denying us any credit for our performances this season is brilliant.

It will just make the victory, and the trawling of FF even more sweeter on Saturday night!

  1. Did you see the guy who said “they got the two teams their place in the Champions League, Celtic didn’t earn their own place?” Surely the fact we won the league earned us our place, the levels of stupidity in their support is unbelievable. If you’d to make that point to him it would blow his mind. This shit about them securing our place is gibberish we’ve been building coefficient points for the 10 years of their existence we’ve gained our place on merit.
