He really should just stick to golf. Because after his showing on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard last night, Cameron should never front an ‘impartial’ radio show again.
Let’s deal with this one first.
Speaking about Rangers’ Calvin Bassey, Cameron said, “Calvin Bassey. He appeared from absolutely nowhere.
“He’s now a 20 million pound player. And the boy is outstanding.
“He’s everything that you want in a defender and in a full back.
“And as you say, there are gems out there and you don’t expect them a hit the ground running.
“And Bassey has come from absolutely nowhere.
“So there might be somebody in the ranks at Rangers that might come through and surprise everybody.”
He lost me at £20m player when he’s nowhere near that standard.
But he also lambasted a Celtic fan that claimed that if Aribo was our player, we would have got more than the £10m Rangers got for him.
And when the Celtic fan backed up his argument by citing Ajer and Edouard as perfect examples of how Celtic get value for their players, he still shot the caller down.
Golf mate. Stick to golf.
