They really are a weird bunch aren’t they?

*Rangers fans I mean.

All weekend they have been taking photo’s of crisp packets and empty plastic bottles to try and show everyone that our fans are ‘joost the same’ as theirs when it comes to celebrating a title win when, in reality, we are completely poles apart.

Let me be clear. When a mass gathering of people occurs, there will be incidents of disorder. Of course they will.

It happens in society, not just in footballing terms.

But what we witnessed over the weekend with Celtic’s celebrations were nowhere near the horror of what was witnessed in George Square last summer.

But yet we have idiots trying to compare and contrast. It really is quite embarrassing.

I can’t speak on behalf of them, but if you read the statement they’ve clearly said there were incidents of minor disorder – and arrests made. But not what they would deem “serious incidents or disorder” – no rioting, serious assaults, large-scale hate crimes, for example.
