We will now start to see if they really believe the refs need protection after this game if they do drop points after Balogun was sent off for a dangerous tackle.
And to be clear, it WAS a dangerous tackle. Out of control.
There are many fans on the official Twitter feed claiming it wasn’t a red as Balogun played the ball but these are the very same fans that were baying for Ryan Porteous blood after his non contact tackle on Glen Kamara.
Amazing isn’t it?
But that isn’t what’s funny about this.
The ramifications of this card could be crucial for Celtic next week as Balogun now faces a lengthy bam but that’s not what concerned these Rangers fans:
