John Hartson has been one of the most outspoken pundits this week about referee Bobby Madden.
He has been consistent in his analysis that Madden had a shocking game on Sunday in the Scottish Cup semi final.
But there was one incident during the match that annoyed Hartson and that was the alleged offside against Calvin Bassey on the run up to the winning goal.
Hartson reckons Bassey’s hand was offside and it should have been called by the officials. He has since admitted he got it wrong.
It takes a bog man to come out and own your mistakes. It takes an even bigger man to do it on the platforms that Hartson does it, but at least he has the balls to do it.
As you can see the tweet went viral as it encouraged an Ibrox pile on subjecting the Celtic hero to torrents of abuse for offering his honest opinion on the game.
I won’t post the abuse on here but you can probably guess where the Ibrox fans went with it.
Like I said. honest enough to man up to a mistake. Kris Boyd could learn a lesson or three here.
