“Tarrier dog” – Chris Sutton subject to a shocking torrent of Twitter hate and abuse

I wrote about this yesterday and it still baffles me to this day.

How, after such a great result against the Champions elect, these peepo can stay angry at everything and anything is utterly bizarre.

Good result in Europe? Raging because of, well, fixtures and stuff.

Get through to the Scottish Cup Final. Raging because a former Celtic player calls out a refereeing performance.

And, by the way, a performance both sets of fans agree was utterly garbage.

But because it’s Chris Sutton, it seems that means that anything goes as the personal and sectarian abuse towards the outspoken pundit reached poisonous levels.

After the Scottish Cup semi, Sutton tweeted this:

Celtic were poor but Bobby Madden turned in one of the worst refereeing performances I’ve seen in Scotland for a long time… and that’s saying something!!!

Even Sutton admitted at the very start that Celtic were poor. No excuses. Got right down to it but I guess these twitter morons just see what they want to see as they subject Sutton to shocking abuse:
