“On that showing I wouldn’t take Jota on a free” – Scottish Cup backlash continues

Yes, it was a sore and yes it may take some time to get over this one but what we need to do is be careful with the reaction to it.

One thing you can be sure of is that Ange will use this to motivate his players. For every remaining league game, he will remind these players of this pain and use it to drive them over the line in the championship.

And as a Celtic support, we need to keep calm heads in a poor situation.

What we can’t do is overreact as it could take the focus off the bigger picture.

There are many questions to be asked and you can bet Ange Postecoglou will be doing just that right now.

Like I said, level heads required and not OTT reactions like this one:

Helps no one and just makes us look daft.

Jota has been immense the majority of the season and was instrumental in the 3-0 humping of them at Celtic Park and Kyogo is just back from a major injury set back.

To focus on those two when the whole midfield was poor is very short sighted.

And that’s not to mention how exposed we were on the right side of defence when Welsh was brought on.

We dust ourselves down and move on.

First defeat since September.

September.
