“How the hell do we drag these people into the 21st century?” – Graham Spiers lambast Sevco sectarian songbook

Celtic Park

At last. Someone has the balls to call it out.

And you know what’s more disappointing. Our very own Chris Sutton or John Hartson never touched this even though they were at the game.

The Rangers songbook was in full swing as soon as their equaliser hit the back of the net and it’s not as if it was subtle.

Full blown fenian blood was right up to their knees on numerous occasions and not a peep from the Premier Sports commentary team.

Disgusting.

But Graham Spiers, a well known Rangers fan, took to twitter and posted this:

And it was time for the tinhat for Spiers as members of his own fanbase quickly turned on him.

I won’t post any of the replies here as I would be at it all day editing them for safe reading but rest assured, thye were just as crass as their behaviour in Hampden this afternoon.

I’ll answer the question for you Graham.

Stadium closures and heavy fines will help. But the spineless SFA will do what they always do. SFA.

The sectarian element of that support will never go away.

Oh, and please do me a favour and spare me the the ‘It’s a minority of fans’ because after that display, it certainly is not.

  1. Points deduction is the only way. They couldn’t care less if a stand or two was closed or the klub incurred a fine. Deduct them points. Start at 3, then work up every time they can’t help themselves.
