“He should be nowhere near this fixture” – Celtic fans fuming over Glasgow Derby announcement

The Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park in February will be one of the most eagerly anticipated games this season.

With £40m waiting the winners of the league this season, Celtic trail Rangers by six points and can ill afford to make any more mistakes when it comes to the league title.

But what about ‘honest mistakes’?

The famous saying that gets banded about whenever a referee makes one against Celtic is truly one of the worst made up phrases going around.

As news that Willie Collum was removed from duty for the fixture to be replaced by Madden. it sent a shudder down the spines of the Hoops fans as the much maligned referee instils no confidence from the Parkhead support.

Suggestions that Madden is an ex Ibrox season ticket holder does not endear him to the fans and they showed their disgust on social media:

Will be very interesting to see how this goes……
