This is the second transfer story The Sun has ran about that club whilst we are in the middle of a busy transfer window.
And the ironic (there’s that word again) thing is, it’s not about a transfer *Rangers have completed. Another one about the Oldco and their supposed transfer dealings from almost 20 years ago.
I’m surmising that it’s because wee Gio is taking his time and shopping in the sales section to get the most out of his mega £16m bounty he did(n’t) receive for wonderkid Nathan Patterson who, ironically (stop that!) couldn’t displace Jonjoe Kenny from Everton’s starting line up this weekend.
After wee Nacho’s non story yesterday, The Sun ran with a top 10 of Rangers most expensive exports. Except it was from the Oldco days again.
Are they trying to distract the *Rangers fans from the obvious news that they will spend no money again this window?
