Hugh Keevins makes incredible Rangers claim that should light a fire under Celtic

With the winter shutdown now officially begun for Celtic, the players will be looking forward to a well earned rest and the fans will be looking forward to the transfer window to see what gems Ange Postecoglou can unearth to help strengthen the squad for the title run in.

With Celtic still in the hunt for the title, it will take a few additions and a fit Kyogo to help the team stake their claim for the title.

But that matters not a jot according to Hugh Keevins.

Keevins was speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard when he made this rather outlandish claim about Rangers where he seems to suggest no matter what Celtic do in the window, it won’t matter in terms of the league title, “I know it was a tight squeak against the United last weekend.

However, I think it’s feasible, the Rangers will go from now until the end of the season and not lose a game.

Not win every game, but will not lose a league game I think.

ut I’m not sure that Rangers are that far short of having a squad that they can take care of the rest of the season.

Without additions. There’ll be no subtractions because they seem to be digging their heels in.

No one will leave, even Joe Aribo who is attracting all manner of interest.

But I’m not sure Rangers actually need anyone.

It’s only December.

I haven’t seen a single shred of evidence to back this claim up. Even with Celtic in the form they are in, I wouldn’t be willing to make that sort of claim.

The good thig for the fans is Hugh is always renowned for getting his predictions way off the mark.
