They really are a strange breed. Even for them, this is ridiculous on a massive scale.
As the Celtic ticket office announced that the sale of tickets for the Glasgow Derby was still available for season ticket holders to purchase an extra ticket for the visit of ‘Rangers’, their fans took it upon themselves to try and point score over the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen.
Well, that’s a lie. The celebratory scenes when they reached third place winners of the Mickey Mouse Florida Cup that they thought they had won was the most ridiculous thing I had ever seen but you catch my drift.
Anyway, as the ticket office made their announcement the ‘Rangers’ fans began typing furiously with their foreheads completely unaware of what the hell they were talking about.
As we all know, with no away fans (and the fact that tickets are up for general sale anyway) that meant that there was extra tickets available for the match.
Of course, any normal football fan knows this, but ‘Rangers’ fans on twitter? Well they are just a breed unto themselves.
