The story hit the headlines hard this morning. No sooner had Jack Ross been dismissed by Hibs, the rumour mill started at who is going to be his replacement.
Already we have seen former Celtic greats being mentioned to be in the running. Names like Gordon Strachan, Ronny Deila and Scott Brown have all been banded about to take over the Easter Road hot seat.
And as the bookies are quickly eating up the punters money, twitter was raking in the gullible as an account parodying the official Hibs account tweeted this:
To regulars on the social media platform, you can spot the tell tale signs that someone is at the wind up, the most obvious is the Twitter tag. It doesn’t match the twitter account name and the blue tick is also missing.
But even these blatant and obvious errors weren’t enough to stop people falling for this and some of the replies were brilliant:
I just laughed and told boys at my work. Got me good 🙈🤣

Is this a parody account?

It would make perfect sense. The best route into his third shot at Parkhead.
