“Maybe that’s just my paranoia” – Listen as brilliant Celtic fan caller calls out media coverage of Kyogo goal

This was a brilliant call.

As you all know, I listen to various podcasts to bring you any Celtic news that I think is relevant from them and sometimes you get a gem of a call from a Celtic fan that you just need to highlight.

This fan called Clyde 1 Superscoreboard to get his point across about the coverage that Kyogo’s goal has received compared to other dodgy decisions that have gone AGAINST his team and he spoke brilliantly.

The fan said, “I thought the performance was excellent. Especially the first half and then again I’m reading the papers I began to wonder if I was at the game last night.

The reports in The Sun. It’s unbelievable. Okay, there was controversy about the goal.

Probably touch and go. I thought at the time it look alright. But it’s the furore in the papers about Hearts getting robbed.”

To get the full flavour of the call, have a listen below:

The fan put his points across very well and even didn’t take any nonsense from the host, Gordon Duncan, when he tried to make a claim the caller didn’t.

And this is the thing. Many Celtic fans are philosophical about these decisions to the point where ‘honest mistakes’ are just part of the fabric of the game.

The calls for VAR to come into the game are hopefully going to be heeded as there is only one team that will feel the blow of a video assistant referee right?
