‘Celtic have ticked his name’ – French media report exciting transfer update

As Celtic continue the search to strengthen the squad in Janaury, a report from French media outlet Homme du Match has claimed the Hoops are tracking a €2m Euro versatile forward.

According to the report, Jérémy Le Douaron of Brest is on the Hoops radar are they look to strengthen the forward line with more ammunition for the title run in.

Douaron has been described as ‘one of the revelations of the season’ and his form sems to have sparked interest across Europe but it seems Celtic are the ones leading the chase for his name.

Douaron, althought described as a centre forward, can play in a number of key positions.

He has been utilised as a right and left sided midfielder and winger this season as well as leading the attack for the Ligue 1 side.

He has scored 17 times in 69 appearances so it seems it is his versatility that Ange Postecoglou is homing in on as he looks to build his squad to enhance rotation as the season wears on.

Ange has already confirmed that the club are actively pursuing targets to bring in on January, “”I’m really confident in the progress we’re making. And the ideal is yes, we have our deals done early and players come in early.

With less than a month to go until the window opens, the speculation will be coming thick and fast for the Celtic supporters.
