“He’s be a good addition” – Fan reaction as Celtic target ‘talking’ to English side

The ongoing saga of Robbie Brady to Celtic continues as the Republic of Ireland midfielder is said to be speaking to English Championship side Bournemouth.

As The Cherries look to gain promotion to the coveted English Premier League, it seems they see Brady as an ideal candidate to join former Celt, Ryan Christie, to help further strengthen their attacking front line

Journalist, Mike McGrath took to twitter to announce the story yesterday, and looking at the reaction to the tweet, the fan forums, Brady seems like he would be a popular addition to the squad by the fans.

One fan wrote:

Surprised he’s without a club

Whilst another said they couldn’t believe he’s not been looked at already:

Just ridiculous that we’ve not looked at him

— Roman Myers (@RomanMyers14) October 14, 2021

But looking at popular fan forum AFCB Forum, it does seem overall, Brady is a popular choice amongst their fans:

Very interesting, still only 29. Not the best injury record but played 19 times for Burnley last season. I don’t really see any reason not to offer him a deal until January or the end of the season. He’s clearly got quality and it’s an area we are quite light in.”

With Brooks out and Stanislas fitness questionable, it’s not the most surprising link. It’s a long season and we’re going to need a deep squad if we’re going to challenge for top 2.”

He’d be a good addition to our bunch.

So it seems he is rated down south, so should Celtic take a punt?

  1. Robbie Brady isn’t Celtic class he’s struggled at nearly every club he’s played at. I’m sick of player’s being linked with us just because they played for Ireland, James McClean being another example and he’s a dud too. So in my opinion keep both of them as far away from us as possible.
