Neil Lennon sets out surprising future for next management position

You would have thought former Celtic gaffer Neil Lennon would have had enough of management after the shambles and pressure of last season?

After a handsome pay off from the club, Lennon has turned his hand to punditry and so far, has still managed to grab the headlines.

But for now, it seems he is looking to get himself back into the football hot seat and revealed where he sees himself in a surprising admission that has taken everyone from left field.

Speaking to the media, Lennon revealed, “Yes, absolutely. For starters, Israel is a beautiful country.

I have a great affiliation with Israel, with the football, because of the players I have worked with and people I have met like Dudu, friends and colleagues over the years.

“I have a good relationship with Dudu, who is a big agent in Israel, and he brought me lots of players.

“I have always kept an eye on the bigger clubs, like Maccabi, like Be’er Sheva, even Ashdod because we took Efe Ambrose from there originally.

“So definitely, it would be something that I am interested in.

I have always wanted to work abroad.”

It is not known whether or not any of the teams the former Hoops gaffer has mentioned are actively looking for a manager and truth be told, I didn’t bother looking but what fascinated me was the randomness of the country he claims he has ‘always kept an eye on’.

I wonder if he had asked Ryan Christie for courtship tips before this interview?
