“Butchers from Glasgow” – Sevco striker confronted by Sparta fan

We all remember Sparta Prague. We don’t want to but they were responsible for a double humiliation on Neil Lennon’s Celtic in last seasons Europa League group stage.

Two 4-1 defeats made those rounds of games one of the worst results in the Hoops history in European competition.

As *Rangers currently face Prague tonight in their second Europa League fixture, the Glasgow team where met with a welcoming committee.

One fan approached *Gers striker Kemar Roofe and brazenly asked him, “Hey mate. Have you come to injure another goalie? Butchers from Glasgow.”

In reference to Roofe fracturing Ondrej Kolar in last seasons Europa League knockout gave against Slavia Prague that they lost 3-1 on aggregate.

At the time, self confessed *Rangers fan Jason Cundy said of the challenge on Talksport,It’s an appalling challenge.

“They need to throw the book at him. They need to ban him for a long time because it’s a disgusting, appalling challenge.

“The keeper couldn’t play on. He knows what he’s doing, he’s followed through with the studs in his head. I’d ban him for eight to 10 games, whatever they throw at him there can be no complaints.

Let’s hope nothing untoward goes on tonight as the game plays on with the visitors currently losing 1-0 in Prague.
