Barry Ferguson Trolled on Live Radio As Rangers Fan Mocks “Top Six” Edouard Comment

Barry Ferguson has been a long term admirer of former Celtic striker, Odsonne Edouard.

He has continually claimed that the Frenchman is good enough to play for one of the top six sides in England, so when the French u21 strikers move to Crystal Palace went through last night, a Rangers fan took to the airwaves to dig his former captain about his comments.

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show a *Rangers supporter called and said, “Good afternoon, hey Barry maybe one of the top six will come and sign Edouard eh?”.

Ferguson was having none of it and doubled down, citing former Celtic defender Virgil Van Djik’s move to Southampton as proof that Edouard’s next big move can still happen, “Believe me, he might go and need to get down to the same route as Van Djik done, but he is good enough to play.”

And Ferguson is absolutely correct.

Regardless of his performances over the last eighteen months, Edouard is a class act and can grace any team in the English Premier League.

There is no doubt that if Edouard gets back to his best and can score between 15-20 goals for The Eagles, one of the big six clubs will come sniffing around him.

Celtic had better been smart about this move and inserted a sell on clause because the former French u21 star will go for massive money some time in the future.
