“Unbelievable”, “Loved Every Minute”, “Emotion Was Incredible” – Players, Pundits And Manager On Outstanding Paradise Full House

Celtic fans following the team in Europe.

It was long awaited. The dream of having a full house at Paradise seemed like just like that. A dream.

Domestic football was just not the same without it. But European nights? That’s a whole different ball game.

All Celtic fans love the European nights under the lights at Celtic Park. There is just an incredible and magical feeling that surrounds those fixtures and we have witnessed some amazing results in Europe when the crowd gets going and generates that intimidating but party style atmosphere.

Speaking after the match on Celtic TV, the pundits, players and  manager all had their say on the return of fans to the stadium and it is fair to say, they were all blown away with what they witnessed  tonight:

John Collins
“Well this fabulous stadium brings the Celtic family together every other weekend. And everybody has missed it so much. And I have to say, from start to finish the supporters were unbelievable. I don’t think there wasn’t a minute in that ninety minutes where the supporters were not singing songs. It just gives he players so much energy.”

David Turnbull
“Yeah that’s what we’ve missed in the past year and a half. It’s my first time I’ve experiencing it on the home team and I loved every minute of it. They were great from minute one to the end and I loved every minute of it. And that’s what we are looking forward to playing in front of more of them.”

Ange Postecoglou
“I mean the emotion was incredible. I guess, both on the park and more importantly off the park. The fans just created something special and I thought performance was was okay.

“We started really well I think we fed off the energy in the stadium and we created some good shots and scored a goal.

“We lost our way a little bit and then second half and again we picked it up and it was a real good job. We’ve got a really heavy schedule tied to my time the sort of intensity and having a full house in here certainly helps us.”

Just imagine the football that will be played by Ange’s team this season in front of capacity crowds.

I really fear for our opponents this season!
