“The Word Is” – Pundit Drops Exciting Backroom Team Teaser.

There has been a lot of chat in the world of Celtic regarding Ange Postecoglou and who, if any, will become part of his permanent backroom team.

As reported by Vital Celtic just days ago, claims where made by an Australian football podcast, Triple M, that Ange Postecoglou was told that he would not be allowed to bring in his own team.

The podcast guest, Tony Rallis claimed, “My understanding is that Celtic Football Club have told Ange that he asked to develop and inherit from within.

“He wasn’t allowed to take any staff. Whether that changes in time, I’m not sure but that was the initial programming,  that we want you to come in and educate and implement within our own environment, including within our own youths, the promotion of youth players from within our own academies.”

It was news that shocked the Celtic fans and prompted the club to instantly rubbish the rumours.

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, host Paul Cooney made a stunning claim that he expects Ange to possibly bring in his own men and it may be soon, “And I think the word is he’s looking to see, so there’s some great people there, who are the right ones for him, but don’t rule out maybe some others coming in as well.

“He’ll be his own man.”

This would please Celtic fans no end as the fears that the boardroom could, once again, be meddling in first team affairs were coming back to haunt the supporters after the former boss, Neil Lennon, was hired under those very same conditions.

The Celtic fans will be looking, no doubt, for player signings first as they prepare to start the new season under the new boss with a Champions League qualifier in less than ten days time.
