Australian Media give Postecoglou Backroom Team Update

With players now incoming and Ange Postecoglou now looking to build the squad ahead of the Champions League qualifier against FC Midtjylland, attention has turned Down Under to who Postecoglou will appoint on his coaching team.

As yet, nothing concrete has been brought forward by the former Yokohama F Marinos coach, until now.

A report from The Brisbane Times has suggested that Ange may already have a man in mind for but when he was asked about the potential of bringing Adelaide United assistant coach Ross Aloisi with him to Glasgow, Postecoglou was very cagey with his answer, “It’s great being here. They’re passionate about football (Celtic fans), I’m passionate about football. Just to be here is fantastic.

“To be fair, I’ve just done training ground-hotel for the last seven days. It’s been pretty busy. I haven’t had much of a chance to get out and about but all the people I’ve come across have been very, very encouraging.

“I’m looking forward to the key part, which is seeing our supporters at Celtic Park, because that’s the one thing people make sure I understand is going to be a special experience.”

Ange is certainly keeping his cards close to his chest but as the momentum builds on the first team rebuild, many will be hoping that work to strengthen the backroom team is just as industrious as the Celtic fans, no matter how hard you try to convince them, are not sold on John Kennedy or Gavin Strachan remaining at Celtic Park.
