Got to love this show.
It’s been a Michael Beale love in over the last few days (which I will get to later) and after a call to change the manager brought the Englishman in, another Englishman was targeted to be stripped of the captaincy.
Tavernier has been a ‘confused’ captain over his time at Rangers.
His media performances where he said Rangers can’t deal with physical teams and that they were not equipped to deal with European football really isn’t the stuff captains are made of.
So when a call for him to stripped of the captaincy comes in, you would expect some support for that right?
Nah.
This confused Rangers fan called Clyde 1 Superscoreboard and to reply to that and said, “I just caught the tail end of the show last night about stripping Tavernier of the captaincy.

“You might as well change your strip to green and white. Because it’s such a drastic change in and around the club that we do not need right now.
“We’ve just got a new manager in the job and a familiar face in the team is just what we need.”
Can’t ever recall any Celtic supporter call for any of our captains to be removed from duty. Ever.
Even during the disaster of the ten in a row season, no right minded Celtic fan questioned Scott Browns credentials to lead the team.
Tav however has almost been hounded out his club by his own fans. On SEVERAL occasions.
These kinds of reactions just show how much we live rent free in their heads and also shows their frustrations at no matter how hard they try, their team will never catch us.
