“The less I say about that the better” – St Johnstone manager is starting to see what Celtic fans have seen at Ibrox for years

We all know it’s going on. We all know there seems to be an inherent bias from the referees in Scotland towards the Ibrox club.

For decades it’s been going on. Put it this way, when was the last time you saw a referee as an after dinner speaker at a Celtic fan function?

It’s part of their retirement package is it not? To appear to do the Sash Bash Circuit to pick up their pension?

But we’ve seen it for years and St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson’s post match press conference, where his side lost 2-0 due to shockingly bad refereeing decisions, is now starting to see it.

As reported by Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Davidson said, “Where do you want me to start?

Probably, for me, I think for a start, the Nicky Clarke one I thought was really harsh. I thought he lost his balance a little bit.

As he’s gone to ground, he’s slipped the ball around. Ryan Jack has come in to him at force, not the other way around.

I genuinely just can’t get it. I don’t understand it. So a really big decision. I definitely didn’t think it was a red card and then obviously the [Ryan Jack] tackle on Adam.

I thought it was really late. It was at speed it was at force. He’s gone to check it. I’ve seen replays of it. It’s going at speed and at force.

He’s missed it [the ball] and he’s gone straight leg, studs up at Adams ankle and that’s a yellow card?

There you go. That sums up the game.

Normally when they go over, it’s a red card. So the less I say about that the better.”

Yep. The double standards of the referees in this country is laid bare for all to see.

And instead of clearing up these ‘honest mistakes’ VAR is now starting to highlight one of two things.

  1. The game is corrupt
  2. The referees are so bad at their jobs we might as just gies ma baw back.

  1. Well like all those other corrupt refs such as hugh dallas and his likes and those who follow on its a sham a disgrace that scottish football is being ruined by corrupt refs this shouldnt be happening but it will continue for as long as sfa allow it to go on without sacking such corrupt refs fans should complain in the thousands to sfa dont sit back and allow it to continue.any ref who attends orange lodges and the likes needs sacked asap without any kind of hearing we must stamp out bigotory sectarian hate bile if we dont then such corrupt refs will continue to destroy the game of football in scotland
