Celtic legend Frank McGarvey has been used to battles on the pitch throughout his whole career.
The legendary striker was a class act in his day as he was part of a Celtic side in the 1980’s that won back-to-back titles, a League Cup and two Scottish Cups.
But recently McGarvey was told that he would need to face another fight as he was diagnosed with cancer.
McGarvey told PLZ Soccer that his friends in the game have helped him fight as he spoke openly and honestly about what he has had to face:
