Hugh Keevins delivers ‘psychological blow’ to Rangers fans and hails ‘remarkable’ Celtic duo

Saturday’s result was just class wasn’t it? In spite of Aberdeen’s performance making it a shocking game to watch, you can just imagine all the Rangers fans hugging their telly’s and radios as the hope that we were dropping points at Pittodrie.

But, like Hugh Keevins, these guys never learn. They never learn that the man who they tipped for the sack at Christmas last year, just doesn’t stop.

Ever.

And once again we proved it on Saturday.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Keevins said, “We understand the psychology of the occasion. Because with five minutes to go, the Rangers supporters are listening and thinking, ‘Knew it! I knew it! They’re going to drop points at Pittodrie!’ and then it is snatched away from them.

It’s a psychological blow to the Rangers fans that thought nine was about to become six (well, it would have been seven, but let’s not get factual here) and it’s a psychological boost to the Celtic fans to know that the last minute goals or the belated goals where there at the start of the season as here at the resumption on the season.

Callum McGregor, to come back and play the whole 94 minutes, he is again, like Postecoglou, quite remarkable for what he brings to the table for Celtic.”

McGregor is remarkable. He just keeps delivering for the club and for Ange, despite what Andy Halliday thinks.

And as for Ange, I’ll continue to let his football and results do the talking for us.

The big Aussie has the measure of everyone in Scotland. Including the media and the fact that Keevins is now claiming he is ‘remarkable’ after his onslaught of him last season, tells you something in itself.
