As a young Celtic fan, I remember sitting next to my dad, watching the results come through on the BBC viddy printer (yes I am a Celtic dad) when he jumped up and smacked me with his paper in celebration! It was an incredible day that the Celtic fans of my generation will never forget. I swear that even till this day, the Hearts fans have never gotten over that. But for us, that was the second last title we ever won before Rangers went on to their nine-in-a-row run. It may not have been the most important title in our history. We all remember that infamous day in 1986. Celtic needed to beat St Mirren by three clear goals and hope that Hearts lost at Dundee to clinch the title. The Edinburgh side needed just a draw to be crowned champions.
