Celtic have had many great goalkeepers over the years.
From the ultimate Prince of Goalkeepers John Thomson, to Pat Bonner, Fraser Forster and Joe Hart, we have been blessed with some very good No 1’s.
And that’s not to mention the unsung heroes like Rab Douglas and Johnny Gould. Both of these guys were absolutely instrumental in some of Celtic’s greatest moments but never widely regarded as Celtic ‘greats’.

But there was one ‘keeper who was the ultimate fans favourite. One that if you give the fans a choice, they would have between the sticks right now.
Artur Boruc.
The Holy Goalie was one the original H*nskelper. Hated them with a passion but was overall an outstanding goalkeeper for us.

During his time at Celtic, Boruc won three SPFL titles, one Scottish Cup and two League Cups but it was his exploits in Europe that also elevated him to legendary status in the eyes of the Celtic fans.
