Blue on Blue as Rangers dump star from Instagram in latest touch of class

They never really have been known for their class to be honest, but this one really takes the biscuit.

Whilst the club has received all sorts of plaudits for their ‘fair play’ over the Partick Thistle incident, we all knew that was just smoke and mirrors.

The media were purring over Michael Beale for allowing Thistle to equalise after Mallik Tillman’s ‘honest mistake’ but failed to mention the huge backlash from their fans during the game and after.

Classless and petty.

Just like the clubs actions last night.

Nnamdi Ofoborh took to Instagram with a cryptic double post that seemed to be taking a swipe at the club over their handling of his medical condition:

The 23 year old signed for the club back in 2021 and a heart condition was picked up during a routine medical which has meant that he has had his career temporarily cut short whilst they seek a resolution.

The club were deeply unhappy about this and almost immediately, unfollowed the player on Instagram [Rangers News].

No arm around the shoulder, not support (apparently) but a cold shoulder on social media.

And they are not daft. They will know people will notice this.

It’s an act devoid of class on a young man who will no doubt be suffering not only physically, but mentally as he needs to deal with his life being put on hold with no answers as to when he can get back to normality.

Like I said, classless.
