The great thing about this Celtic squad is the strength in depth we have not just in numbers, but also in quality.
Our midfield is packed with talent in a way that there are players who can’t even get on our bench would walk right into any other SPFL side.
But it is up top where we could probably do with adding an extra body. As it is we only have Kyogo and Oh but Ange Postecoglou has revealed that he believes the Korean has a very big future at the club.
Ange said of the Celtic striker [The Celtic Way], “Obviously Kyogo is a bit more mature but he’s a player who has come from the other side of the world and I think it gives Oh great confidence to know that just because you come from a different culture or upbringing doesn’t mean you can’t make a big impact.
“I’m sure he’s learning off Kyogo in his own way, seeing how hard he works on a daily basis and how hard he works for his team. That will help him in his development as a footballer.
“The big guy has done really well since he joined us. He embraced the culture, the club, the league, everything. You can see how determined he is to be success. I think he’s going to be a very good footballer for us.”
Although he didn’t get on the scoresheet today, Oh is still showing great endeavour when he comes on.
Trying to make an impact as a substitute in every game must be difficult but if he’s learning from Kyogo, that can only benefit him in the future.
