As we now settle back into domestic football, come 3pm tomorrow the Champions League will be a distant memory for the Celtic supporters.
Today’s AGM has already helped the fans forget about the 5-1 defeat in Madrid as talk of stadium expansion and the re-election of Dermot Desmond took centre stage.
But what was interesting was Ange Postecoglou’s pre match press conference today where he seemed to be prepping the Celtic for bad news on the transfer front.
Bad news, that is, in terms of outgoings as it seems that we could be preparing for the departure of a few players in January.

We all know that Matt O’Riley and Joseph Juranovic have both been heavily linked with moves away from the club in recent weeks and we have also been linked to return to the Japanese market with a move for Yukio Kobayashi.
Ange’s frank and openess is very refreshing and that tells us one of two things.
Moves are afoot to get players out yhe club and one would hope that the likes of McCarthy would be one of the first names on the list simply due to him being a high earner. It’s a shame it hasn’t worked out for him but maybe it’s time to call it a day.
