“Miller on the drugs again”, “Greg Taylor has more goals” – Celtic fans brilliant reaction to former Sevco man’s Jota comments

Celtic Park from Janefield Street

For a guy that has over three decades in the game, his knowledge (or lack of) is pretty shocking.

Kenny Miller, former Hibs, *Rangers, Wolves and Celtic striker, gave his opinion on Sevco’s Ryan Kent and made a daft claim about the midfielder that gave the Celtic fans at the bottom of this piece a good laugh.

In this column:

Miller reminded us about Kent’s ‘ability’ with this absurd assessment, “It’s a frustration because when it comes to talent and technique, he’s better than Abada, James Forrest or Daizen Maeda at Celtic.

And he’s certainly on a par with Jota, in terms of ability.”

Three lies in one statement that even Miller himself doesn’t believe.

And why does he not believe it? He basically argued his own point out the water with this little gem, “His biggest goal return in a campaign at Rangers so far is 13, in 2020/21.

Last season he played 46 games and scored just three.

When you’re playing almost every minute of every game for a club like Rangers, that’s not enough.

So he has to contribute more. He’s at an age now, 25, when Rangers need to see it.

He’s not a young, inexperienced winger any more.

I mean, I just don’t even know what to say.

So, to sum up, he’s better than Abada and Maeda but on a par with Jota but he isn’t good enough? Is that pretty much what he’s on about?

How Miller has this gig as well as Clyde 1, Go Radio and BT Sports is beyond me.
