Referee’s will always be the centre of attention in Scotland and, in particular, by the Celtic fans.
And with good cause.
For years we have sat and watched poor decision after poor decision go against our club whilst those officials in charge of matches flaunt their allegiences towards those in the south side of the city.
You don’t need me to tell you who they are. We all know.
And yet, the SFA don’t seem to have an issue with this. They don’t seem to think that by having an affiliation to this club the referee’s decision making on the park could be influenced.
Either that or they just don’t care.
And VAR was meant to sort that right?
Well, after last weekend, that is highly doubtful.
And what was the recourse for the shocking decision making of the VAR officials in the Hearts v Celtic shambles?
A break from VAR duties? Retraining? Demotion to the lower leagues?
Don’t be daft:
Noting really much to add to that to be honest.
It’s little wonder the Celtic fans not only have little faith in the men in black, but also the football authorities who seem to turn a blind eye to these ‘honest mistakes’.
And the Celtic fans were not happy:
Gifted the H*ns a point last week too….Lest we forget.

Only thing I’d say is that they made such an ar*e of it last week that they’ll be under extreme scrutiny on Sat , might need to call it properly but I won’t hold my breath

They’re literally just laughing in everyone’s face in broad daylight, unreal

A safety net, in case the opportunity for an honest mistake is missed on the pitch. It’s beyond blatant now.
