This is the mentality of that lot. They’re only four points behind in the league and still in all the domestic cup competitions and they want the manager out the door should they not win on Saturday.
It’s brilliant isn’t it?
And what has caused this sudden sharp turn on their Gerrard ‘upgrade’. Because that is what he was. Was he not?
All through their Europa League run, Gio was being touted as a thoroughbred whilst Gerrard was being downgraded to a donkey.
All because they got ideas above their station and genuinely believed they were European class.
That’s worked out well for them hasn’t it?
The Champions League has been a humbling experience for them. In fact, it’s been a rude awakening, and the fallout has been excellent.
So what’s the plan this weekend? Show support for the manager? Roar on the team to give them a confidence boost?
