Watch Ange’s deadpan answer to Sky Sports Queen question

Match Day Celtic Park

These guys just never learn, do they?

All week Ange has at been at pains to say that the club and the players will follow whatever protocol’s the football governing bodies deem necessary to commemorate the death of the Queen and that he will not tell others (the fans) what to do.

Because Ange get’s it. He knows that’s not his job and his stark refusal to get involved in the media’s petty politics regarding this issue is the correct stance to take.

The fans have their own minds. Their own set of beliefs. A set of beliefs to far removed from this archaic and enforced universal grief that we are all being told to feel, it’s little wonder football fans across the country making their feelings felt.

Of course, it’s only the Celtic manager that is questioned about the fans banners and protest. And, of course, Ange again just didn’t involve himself in this reporter’s petty game of ‘Give Us A Headline’.

The perfect answer. I’ve already addressed it so move on.

I’m just hoping that after the circus ends today that life get’s back to some form of normality. Some sort of sense and I’m sure that people wrapped up in their own wee grief-stricken world will miraculously feel better in a few weeks and will be back up to their knees in no time at all.
