We all knew this would happen right because we all saw it for ourselves.
For some strange reason, Steven Gerrard was hailed as a brilliant manager after watching Celtic clean up a Quadruple Treble and only manage to garner one trophy in his time at Ibrox.
Granted, it was the trophy to stop ten in a row but, bloody hell, even Callum Davidson at St Johnstone has a better trophy haul than him.
Gerrard was one of the most over-hyped managers ever to grace the Scottish game.
Forever throwing his players under the bus, the former England international was facing the sack at Rangers, until COVID kicked in.
Lock down happened and the Ibrox support had their excuses in early to help save his job.
So, off the back of one trophy win, Gerrard jumped ship to Aston Villa and this season they have seriously struggled.
Sitting 15th with one win out of four, Gerrard is under serious pressure. Just how serious though as the season has just kicked off?
This type of serious:
With a win percentage of just 35% during his tenure at Villa, the writing is on the wall for the Liverpudlian.
Maybe the cost of living crisis will save him?

Without SFA Refereeing Department backing, Gerrard is being found out as a manager.

Nope… Considering what’s on offer in that squad… Gerrard already is the worst manager we’ve ever had…

He’s lost without Mick Beale. No Plan B. No tactical nous to change during a game. Same buzzwords after every game. Did the same here with Rangers, one trophy out of ten and though it was ‘job done’. You’re better off without him.
