“Get your hardhat on mate!” – Michael Stewart’s latest tweet causes another Ibrox meltdown

Celtic Park

Yesterday he apologised for his remarks against Jim Traynor he made two years ago on BBC Sportsound back in February 2020. It was one helluva rant.

Stewart said what many had been thinking but it seems whatever legal proceedings were brought against him for that rant had forced his hand yesterday and he sent out, what I would call, a ‘can’t be *rsed’ apology.

So you would be forgiven if you thought that would be that.

Not so says Stewart.

As news filtered that Celtic were now officially guaranteed Champions League group stage football, Stewart tweeted this brilliant dig at *Rangers:

The not so thinly veiled dig caused outrage amongst the Govan hordes as it seems they simply do not like a dose of the truth:

Now here’s the thing. These fans are pretending to laugh at him. They are pretending that they are enjoying his ‘meltdown’ when in reality, the opposite is clearly true.

They swarm on his social media because they know he speaks the truth. Hell, even their board of directors have made it pretty clear that they must adopt a player trading model to ensure financial stability.

One run in Europe isn’t sustainable. Especially with an impending summer firesale incoming.
